I would like to upgrade my videocard so that I can play Guild Wars. I run on an '04 system and I have 1.25gigs of RAM, does anyone recommend anything?|||'04 System eh, what kind of video card are you using? AGP or PCI Express? I think anything from Geforce 7300 and up will do a good job on Guild Wars. I don't think you will need anything higher than that. You might as well get a new system if you going to spend over $100.|||Guild wars doesnt require to much power for a graphics card, think about getting something like a nvidia 7300GS or an Ati x1650 or something.
If its an AGP slot you wont generally find as much choice, and they will generally cost more as less are made and demanded.
But if you have a PCI-E slot, depending how much you have to spend.. you could think about getting a direct x 10 card, but that will be spending abit more..
Not knowing where you from, i can't really price anything or direct you to any useful online retailers..
And also, graphics cards require a fair bit of power, and if you havnt got a big enough power supply you might have to upgrade that and it might be worth just investing in a new pc sooner or later.|||Guild wars is really a huge game, you must pay much time on it, and at the sametime you should pay for it.
