Upgrading video card... Worth it?

Hello

I currently have this rig:

768MB Geforce 8880 ultra

Intel Extreme core 2 x9650 4x3ghz 12mb cache

4gb DDR3 1033mhz RAM

ASUS maximus extreme motherboard

Windows 7 64-bit

7200rpm HDD 32mb cache

I am thinking of upgrading by getting this card:

Gainward Nvidia GTX 295 426018336-0506 Single PCB

(not sure what those numbers after the 295 mean but thats whats advertised!)

Will I see a major increase in performance by getting this card on my current setup?

I currently average 30-35 fps on crysis... would this card significantly improve that?

Will this card make my system ready for the new influx of games coming out (bioshock 2, NFS:SHIFT, command and conquer 4, CODMW2)?

Really trying to work out whether it is worth the upgrade.

Thanks in advance to everyone!|||Sure, you'll see a significant increase in performance, a single GTX 295 is the most powerful graphics card in the world. Here's how your 8800 Ultra compares to it.

I've got an EVGA 750i SLI FTW with a dual core E8500 @ 3.16GHz (still stock speed for now), Vista 64 bit, 8GB OCZ Platimun DDR2 800MHz, Corsair 750W psu and two GTX 260's in SLI, AA 16xQ (all other settings at very high) at 1680x1050 and average 60+ fps on Crysis. Typically, depending on the environment, it ranges from 40~120+. If I turn the AA down to 4x or 2x, the frame rates go thru the roof. I checked the specs and my two 260's are better than a 285, but are not quite as good as a 295. I'm sure that with your quad core and DDR3 memory with a 295 that you'll get better performance than I do.
