Looking to upgrade video card from Geforce7300. I have a micro case and need good ventilation. Suggestions?

I have an Nvidia Geforce 7300, 256mb etc. I'm looking to upgrade it so I can dual-client some older games without lag. My computer is small, I have a micro case, so it *needs* to be well ventilated and not huge. Any suggestions?|||need to use a case fan if possible

I have a Gm5474 and want to upgrade video card?

I wanted the EVGA GeForce 9600 GT Video Card or the Radeon HD 4830 Video Card but I dont know if my computer has the power supply to accompany those video cards. Which is better for gaming and what is a molex 6 pin and where doe all of that go?

I have a Amd Athlon 64x2 6000+

Nvidia 8500GT

3 Giggs of Ram and 500gbHD

400 Watt Power Supply|||You have to tell us how much money you're willing to spend on it.

A 6-pin molex connector is a cable, usually coming from your power supply that feeds your graphics card (don't worry, it is very distinguishable ). If your power supply doesn't have any, you can buy a 4-pin to 6-pin molex adapter.

400 watts are enough for those video cards and between these two I would certainly suggest the HD4830.

Get more ram or upgrade video card..?

Well recently ive been getting into gaming again. And currently im playing TF2 and Garrys mod...but when theres alot happening in the screen my fps goes down.... My current video card is a ATI RADEON x800 pro 256mb...and my ram right now is 2g...should i ad a gig of ram or get a bttr graphics card|||It's your graphics card...it's being overworked. Try the radeon x1950.|||2GB of system RAM is plenty. There are two things that you want to be fast for a gaming computer: the video card, and the processor, in that order. Just don't be surprised if you still get fairly low fps when there's alot of action on screen, with the faster video card-- it'll happen because your processor can't keep up.

How do you stop your on-board video card from working?

i got an on-board video card for my PC and i have another upgraded video card installed. The old video card should not be working by this time but when I installed a certain game, the game uses the old video card and results to system crash every time I play that game. Can someone help me with this problem please?|||You need to go into the bios or config for your pc and disable the onboard video.

I'd like to upgrade video card but psu doesn't have pci-e power wire?

I'm adding a pci-e 2.0 graphics card to my hp and I need to power the graphics card, is there a converter cord for another power wire to pci e for the gpu power?|||Most graphics card with PCIe power connector has an adapter that connects to 4-pin molex of power supply. However, most stock power supply of branded PCs are not powerful enough for graphics cards that have PCIe power connector.

You would be better off with a graphics card that does not have a PCIe power connector. It is a lower wattage card.

If you are really keen on installing a powerful graphics card, you have to upgrade your PC's power supply.

Upgrade video card on my computer?

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NS210E, and was wondering if I can upgrade the video card? I know that some Sony Vaio's are able to upgrade the video card but I don't know. The video card in it now is a Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. Any help would be very much appreciated.|||Sorry..yours has an intregraded video chip and cannot be upgraded. Very few laptops, except the very expensive ones, have the option to install a non-intergrared video card.

Good Luck|||no, you can't. you can go for another upgradeable vga laptop.

Upgrading video card?

Is it possible to upgrade a video card on a laptop? Its a dedicated video card and not integrated so I don't know if its a permanent part of the motherboard or not.|||no. there are like a million of these questions every day|||Probably not possible|||Yes. Just look in your computer manual. There may be a special way to access the card, or you may need to take the computer into a store to have it installed.
