I want to buy a new dell and upgrade video card?

i want to buy a computer for moderate gaming(warrock, warcrat, cs, and more) but i know i want a dell because i get a huge discount and a great warranty(they have been great for me my whole life and i dont plan to change now) i think i will get either an optiplex or an xps. its will have 2.4 ghz core 2 duo, but i want to buy a video card seperately. any advice on a good card. i want one for 175$ or less. i heard the geforce 8800 was good but pricey??|||make sure that your dell computers comes with a PCI-E or AGP port. most dell computers don't unless they are putting in seperate graphic card.

as far as creating a gaming computer goes you are much much better off making your own. gaming computers are very personal and HAVE to match all your desires.

as for a card look for 8800 it is getting cheaper everyday (i know one for 300$, it used to be 800 a month ago). I worth the extra money.|||NVIDIA is the most awesome graphics card brand. However, it is a bit more pricey because it's so good. For 175 you can buy yourself a solid card... 256mb or maybe even a low speed 512.

Go to Amazon.com and type in "NIVIDIA", you'll see a large variety of cards in your price range.
