Computer won't play Sims 3 - need an upgraded video card?

I was able to load the Sims 3 onto my computer but when pushing play, a window pops up saying: "Unable to start game. Device 0 cannot run this title. Your video card does not appear to support at least Shader Model 2. Please upgrade your card." What do I need to do to get it to work?|||Your Video Card doesn't have PixelShader 2.0 you need a video card made probably last year or newer to play Sims 3 efficiently. I have a nVidia GeForce 9800 GT and it runs it just fine. The 9800 GPU will be enough to handle most all games up to 2013 or so depending on how good technology improves.

Its 98$
