well got the sims game couldn't play it need new video card.... the box says it needs a Nvidia GeForce series:FX 5900 or greater does anyone know a universal place like walmart or best buy that i could get a video card like this????|||As you *did* ask this in laptops / notebooks section... Just beware that laptops and notebooks do NOT have upgradeable video. In other words, you can't upgrade / update the video in a laptop or notebook.
There are exceptions, but only with VERY expensive high-end boutique machines like Alienware, Voodoo, and so on machines.|||www.newegg.com is the best place to look. Make sure you get the right kind of card for your motherboard. It will either take AGP or PCI-E. Also, dont get just the minimum it will barely play the game. Heres what i recommend:
256MB or 512MB
ATI Radeon HD 3800 series or higher OR
Nvidia GeForce 9800 series or higher
