Computer upgrade...video card...?

http://emachines.com/support/product_sup…

I want to know how much i can upgrade my video card to.

I already upgraded the RAM as much as i can, please help.

link to my computer specs above.|||Buy an 8500 GT.|||eMachines are some of the worst computers. Period. Even new this thing was pretty crappy. It has a Celeron processor which is not good for games AT ALL. You're seriously better off just buying an entirely new computer. Every single component in this computer is low-quality and low-performing.

It DOES have a PCI-Express slot, so it could take any PCI-Express video card (with a power supply upgrade) but even a $500 video card wouldn't this computer to play many games.|||It has a PCIe X 16 slot, so it will work with quite a few decent cards. The specs are a bit sketchy, but it does not appear to be a 2.0 slot, so the newest, high-speed cards are too much.

Here is a link to a card that should improve your graphics performance considerably. Unfortunately, it is also about as top-end as you could go, with the specs listed for your machine. I can't say for sure, but I doubt you could play games like Crysis and GTA IV at anything more than low settings with this card. It does support DX 10 and Open GL 2.0, with GDDR3, so it will last at least for a little while. To get anything better would require a complete PC upgrade.

Edit: If you really want to, you can get a PCIe X 16 2.0 card. The card slot would drop it's effectiveness down, since it would only connect at half the speed (you have a 1.0 slot). I personally don't think the extra money would be worth it for your PC.
