Need Help Upgrading Video Card?

is there a website like crucial thats scans ur computer but for video cards?

Can i buy any video card?

if not my specs are

Intel Celeron D CPU 3.33ghz

1.75 gb of ram

and if i need more info i will see if i could find

thanks xxx|||hello you ok ?

1 you could ask someone to overclock your cpu but makesure its done properly and you have adequate extra cooling in your tower.

[ or buy a faster cpu chip for your motherboard]

2 you could also buy a video card with a higher memory count onboard

.

3 belarc advisor is a good program to use for detailed system diagnostics it will tell you every single thing about your pc.

4 you could also utilise your installed ram if you get your cpu overclocked.

5 ask for some advice from your local computer shop.

good luck and happy computing everyone, chris|||advisor"" from belarc.com

it will tell you everything about your pc top to bottom inside and out

and it's less than 1 meg in size so it will fit on a floppy if you really have an old system in which case you will spend more on upgrading a unit not worth the investment

"remember a new tower is only $279 away "

you will probably want to upgrade your memory too|||well the info we need is info about your motherbord (to see what sort of video card your mother bord will support) and information about your power supply unit (to see if it can supply enough power to run the video card. wiht that infomation i will be able to help|||You need to search for the specifications of the motherboard, and find out what kind of video card it supports then purchase one of those... most likely, it is AGP.
