my comp: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-pavilion-elite-m9150f/4507-3118_7-32810504.html?tag=mncol;psum

in trying to upgrade my video card to increase gaming performance. im looking to spend around 100-200 on one. the one thing i dont understand is am i capable of running a 512 mb or just 256mb and does it matter whether ir requires ddr3 or ddr2? thanks alot, john|||DDR3 is faster than DDR2. A lot of graphics card makers are now selling more memory with the price drop in DDR2's, but DDR3's are faster even though some card have only half as much.

It does not matter what type of ram you have as graphics ram is independent from system ram.
