I am trying to upgrade to this video card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as… I have a Dell Vostro 200 Slim tower. After I put in the video card and connected the DVI cable, nothing shows up on the monitor. The card fits perfectly, and there's nothing wrong with the monitor or DVI cable. However, the card came with another cord, I think it is called SPDIF, and looks exactly like the first picture at this link: http://www.msicomputer.com/support/formv… The white end of the cord goes to the video card, but I can't find where the other ends go in the computer.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Or if the motherboard has a place to connect the cord?
Thanks!!|||Before you connect the monitor to the card go to your bios and set the display to your pci device.
