Upgrade video card and PSU?

I have a Desktop its a Dell Inspiron 545-006B

Width 6.9 in

Depth 17.4 in

Height 14.8 in

Graphics: 256 MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 3450

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 / 2.33 GHz OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit

RAM: 8 GB DDR II SDRAM

Hard Drive 1 TB - Standard - Serial ATA

Expansion Bays Total (Free) 1 ( 1 ) x External - 3.5 in, Internal - 5.25 in, 3.5 in

Expansion Slots Total (Free) Memory, Memory card reader, PCI, PCI Express x1, PCI Express x16

I checked the power supply and It is 300watt and it says 12v 18A

This does play some games but at low settings I don't need a High end card and don't think I could get one on my small budget. I'm looking for a card that will play most new games and some MMOs with good performance I'm a casual player so I don't play a lot but would like good performance for when I do play.

I'm assuming in order to do this I'll need to also get a better PSU I may have to do this in two parts save up for the PSU then the Card but I want to stay as low as I can in price.

What Graphics Card should I get and If I need a new PSU what size and brand would you recommend?|||Corsair 400W psu, 30A 12V rail and one 6 pin pci-e power connector, can handle any card up to a 9800GT or HD 4770.

http://www.upgraderguides.com/hwdb.php?t…|||Ati Radeon 4670 HD 512 DDR3|||ok for your power supply brand, go with Antec, Ocz, Enermax, Coolmaster, Seasonic, Corsair,XFX, Zalman, Thermaltake, Silverstone. any of those are good brands, though their usually more expensive than the other brands, a cheap power supply really isnt a good thing.

i would probably go with around 550w to 650w

ok as for your graphics card you didnt list a budget. but for a casual gamer who wants good performance i would go with the Ati 5770. its about 170$ which isnt too expensive and definitely worth the money
