Will upgraded video card make YouTube less choppy?

If I upgrade me video card to one that is faster and has more memory, will youtube be less chopp? I have highspeed internet, so it can't be my connection.

Is video memory even used during web browsing? Or is it only for games...|||It's not your video card... videos on Youtube are choppy because they are generally low-quality compressed files, and due to high demand the connection to their servers has ups & downs.

Your Internet connection may be the best in the world, but when the number of requests exceed what THEIR connection can simultaneously handle, you'll see stuttering and interruptions.

Even integrated graphics chipsets can handle smooth display of Youtube video clips.|||The quality of videos on YouTube is generally choppy for everyone....it's not our video cards, it's that the videos are compressed for upload reasons & this compromises their quality.

You may notice that it varies from one YouTube video to another. This is because people use different compression ratios on their videos before uploading them to YouTube.

It's the source (the video file itself) that's the problem ... not your video card.

To some small degree the video card's memory can affect browsing but that's not the issue in this case involving YouTube.
