Can I upgrade Video Card in my laptop/?

I have Dell Xps M1710 with the 7900 Nvdia 512 Mb graphic card, I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to the 7950 gtx graphic card|||nope|||Generally not, no. Laptop video is built in to the motherboard on nearly all notebooks -- nearly everything is on the motherboard to save space. Expansion for laptops is handled through external devices or PC Cards -- you may notice there's very, very, very few graphics adapters which are external or PC Cards. This is the drawback of portability -- limited upgradeability, since everything is so smushed into a small space, laptops are very proprietary and not modular.
