Upgrade Video card on a motherbord that has intergraded card?

I'm trying 2 get some information because im planning on getting a new desktop PC.

anyway, if the motherbord already has a intergrated video card and also have PCI expressed card slot, will it work if i put a different card in it? and which card will work?|||If you place a graphics card in the PCIe slot it will automatically disable the integrated graphics ... you can only use one ot the other not both at the same time|||Suggest a good graphics card at this web site.

I don't have experience with PCIe, so it's posible their software will take care of everything. I doubt that.

Bios look a little different from computer to computer,.. but no matter who you are talking to.. you'll need to explore your Bios if you need to change something in it.. so no point in having another person involved to tell you the obvious once you see it.|||You might need to disable the onboard graphics before you install a separate graphics card. That setting is in the bios which you can get to by hitting the F2 or F10 or the DEL key. Those are the most common keys that most computers use to enter the bios.

What card you buy will depend on what type of slots you have in your computer. The two common slot types are PCI and AGP. Most all computers have PCI slots.
