I need a new video card with at least a shader model 2 to play the sims 3. My problem is that I don't know anything about them. If anyone has any suggestions or knows exactly what I need... It would be appreciated. Here are my details for the video card I have now....

It doesn't have VGA or PCIe. It has the ancient PCI slots. You can get PCI graphic cards for like £20 ($35) brand new.
Peace
Edit: If your system says it takes DDR2, use DDR2. Go to www.crucial.com (The Memory Experts) and pick either US or UK and it'll run a scan on your system and tell you what RAM is 100% Compatible with your current system. There is no mistake to be made that way.
:)|||hmmm, that actually will not help us in deciding what kind of video card that you need, but heres an easy guide basically all you need to do is find out what kind of PCI slots are on that specific model. after that you need to just find a good video card that will fit into your pci slots. The only issue im seeing with that is i dont think that you have PCI-E slots which is what almost every video card known to man is using. so if you find out that information you can get one from there. BUT every computer can take a video card you just have to find the right fit.
